If you are not satisfied with your Ready-Made purchase, then you can return your item within 14 days of receiving your order by following the returns process below:
Please contact us at info@thechunkyneedle.com quoting your order number for instruction on how to return your item.
The item you wish to return must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original box provided with proof of purchase and all labels attached. Items that appear worn or used will not be refunded and returned to the customer.
Our policy lasts 14 days. The purchased item you wish to return must be received by us within 14 days of receiving your order.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. A full refund of the item/s (excluding any delivery charges) will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 days. Postage will only be refunded if the item is found to be faulty, otherwise the cost of returning the goods will be at your own expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@thechunkyneedle.com
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
When returning an item, it is recommend that you use a recorded service as I am not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the post. Items remain your responsibility until they reach me. Return postage costs will not be refunded unless the item is found to be faulty.
BESPOKE (CUSTOM MADE) ITEMS AND ITEMS MADE WHOLESALE FOR TRADE ARE NOT ENTITLED TO RECEIVE REFUND AS THESE ARTICLES ARE DESIGNED/MADE WITH SPECIFIC SPECIFICATIONS AND CAN NOT BE RE-SOLD. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN MAKING YOUR PURCHASE.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS REGARDING WORKSHOPS
Workshop tickets must be paid in full prior to attending said class.
Workshop tickets are non-refundable as personalised wool requests (ie: colour) are unique to the buyer and are ordered via a supplier at time of booking. This wool is non-returnable once dispatched to The Chunky Needle. Workshops may get cancelled up to 1-10 days ahead of scheduled class due to fewer than 5 enrolled or host venue(s) closing or ceasing to trade at last minute notice. Options in this situation: (i) attend an alternative date/location (ii) post wool to customer with online instructions alongside a rebate back to the customer covering the missed ‘live’ instruction. Once wool is purchased, a full refund is not possible.
Tickets may be transferable depending upon the nature of booking and the provision of future workshop dates. Each case will be explored individually and all efforts will be made by The Chunky Needle to accommodate individual cases. Requests for transfer must be made 72 hours prior to workshop date. Transfer request does not guarantee compliance.
Wool colour selections will be honored with full intent, however, due to unforseen issues that may arise with supplier, it may be that a colour is not available prior to workshop. The Chunky Needle will communicate any issues with the buyer (via email) and an alternative will be suggested. Should the buyer not communicate a new colour option to The Chunky Needle within 10 working days of the booked workshop, The Chunky Needle will pre-select a close, suitable option. Workshop bookings made after wool selection deadline will have reduced colour options.
Customers who fail to attend workshops should expect to forfeit their wool. However, in exceptional circumstances arrangements for postage of wool may be possible within 7 days post workshop. This will always be subject to an admin fee and full cost of postage and packing.
Merino wool and/or acrylic will be used in all workshops. As merino is hypo-allergenic, issues surrounding allergy, reaction or similar will not be accepted after booking is made. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be aware of his/her health issues surrounding wool allergens and any concerns must be informed to The Chunky Needle 72 hours prior to workshop.
Merino wool used for workshops will be un-spun & un-felted. Instruction will be given on how to improve the durability of your merino and aftercare advice will be given.
At short to no notice, a workshop may be cancelled due to inclement weather, acts of god or illness. Should a class be cancelled, every effort will be made to reschedule the event, like for like, within 30 days of the cancelled class. Should this date be unsuitable for prospective students The Chunky Needle will arrange to post your purchased wool to your residence.
COVID POLICY: Workshops cancelled due to Covid lockdowns/restrictions etc. Will not have paid funds refunded. An alternative date will be made available to participants. The alternative date will be made available as close to the original workshop as possible, but in some cases this is not feasible. Participants will be given three options. 1) attend a new date 2) attend a workshop at a different town or venue 3) have wool posted to them with access to online how-to-make videos.
Workshop participants attend at their own risk. All Covid guidelines/regulations will be observed by The Chunky Needle and our partner venues.
Any questions or concerns must be expressed in writing to The Chunky Needle info@thechunkyneedle.com and all attempts to accommodate will be made on an individual basis.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH GIFT VOUCHERS
1. Your gift voucher is not redeemable for cash. Voucher is non-refundable.
2. The voucher is non-transferable and resale is prohibited. Voucher may be used for an upcoming workshop or physical Chunky Needle product.
3. If a voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission, a replacement will not be provided in these circumstances.
4. This gift voucher is not to be combined with other discounts and is not valid with other promos.
5. The voucher never expires. Use the unique voucher code sent to you by email when booking onto a future class or when purchasing a product.
6. Go to: www.thechunkyneedle.com/events/ for all upcoming workshop dates. Recipient may need to travel to a workshop venue if one is not on offer in immediate vicinity.
7. When booking take time to read all the T&C's associated with workshops for they are non-refundable.
PHOTOGRAPHY
1) By attending a Chunky Needle workshop or event, you may be photographed or videoed for later promotional use by the Company. A verbal request for permission will be made prior to this action. Should you wish for your image or likeness to not be used, please indicate at the time of action or contact The Chunky Needle within 48 hours of the workshop or event. info@thechunkyneedle.com
2) Images/Videos/Reels published by The Chunky Needle via the website, or any social media platform are the intellectual property of The Chunky Needle and may not be reused, published, or claimed ownership by a third party or organisation without written permission by The Chunky Needle
USE OF DISCOUNT CODES
The Chunky Needle may promote a discount code or promotion relating to a sale, event or marketing campaign. It is the discretion of The Chunky Needle how these discounts can be utilised, the frequency and by the user. Workshop guests are issued with a Discount Code upon attendance. Non workshop attendees are prohibited from using this discount on stock, workshops or any other promotion. Codes published via third party online platforms will not be accepted and orders using said codes will be cancelled and refunded
